Family owned and operated for over 35 years.
The Byron Village Chiropractic Centre is the same family practice it has been since 1989. Two doctors of chiropractic and a registered massage therapist, all in one office on Commissioners Road West.
Dr. Heather Somers, DC
Dr. Heather Somers has provided over 15 years of evidence-based chiropractic care. She builds individualized treatment plans that focus on restoring function, reducing pain, and supporting long-term wellness, not just managing symptoms.
Her treatment combines chiropractic adjustment, soft tissue therapy, and personalized exercise instruction. She has advanced training in paediatric chiropractic, specialized training in prenatal chiropractic, and is certified in the Webster Technique.
Dr. Matthew Somers, DC
Dr. Matthew Somers founded the Byron Village Chiropractic Centre and continues to see patients on a reduced schedule. His focus is family care for patients of all ages: the same body of work the practice has been built around since 1989.
He is a graduate of Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College and holds an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology from the University of Toronto.
Caroline Roemmele-Kelly, RMT
Caroline brings over 15 years of registered massage therapy experience to the practice. She works alongside the chiropractic care so muscle and joint problems can be addressed together, in one visit when it makes sense.
Direct insurance billing is available for her sessions through most major carriers.
Quality, personal care. The same goal for 35 years.
We provide quality, personal care for conditions affecting the muscles and joints of the body. The goal is to restore optimal health, strengthen bodies post-injury, and prevent recurrence.
Same building. Same family. Same way of working since 1989.
- Principle 01
An accurate diagnosis comes before any treatment. History, exam, and X-rays when needed.
- Principle 02
Techniques are specific and gentle. We take great care to ensure no pain during the visit.
- Principle 03
Rehabilitation exercise is not optional. It is what keeps the problem from coming back.
- Principle 04
When you choose to discontinue care is always up to you. Relief, corrective and maintenance care, on your terms.
From a baby's first visit to a patient over 100 years old.
Different techniques for different bodies. Very light touch with infants. Gentle and steady with seniors. The technique adapts so the result, less pain and better mobility, can stay the same.
