Oak West Urgent Care
In response to reduced access to veterinary services in London and the surrounding area, we launched Oak West Urgent Care. This clinic operates as a separate medical care facility within the current Oak West Animal Clinic building.
We provide care for patients in need of immediate assessment for acute medical conditions including, but not limited to, wounds, respiratory distress, urinary tract infections, ear infections, eye concerns, vomiting and diarrhea. Our goal is to provide overflow services for clinics already facing a full caseload, or for clients who do not have a primary veterinarian.
We do not currently offer after hours emergency care. Intensive work ups that are not time sensitive will be directed back to your primary veterinarian. If overnight care is anticipated, referral to specialty clinics outside of London will be necessary.
How to Reach Urgent Care
Please call us before bringing your pet to the clinic. This phone line is only available on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 9 AM to 5 PM. If possible, contact your regular veterinarian first.
Call Urgent Care · (519) 474-1560On arrival you will fill out an information sheet, and a Registered Veterinary Technician will triage your pet. We tend to patients in order of urgency, so wait times vary day to day. We operate with a small team, and your patience is much appreciated.

Rehabilitation
Our rehabilitation service offers an expanding array of treatments for a wide variety of post-surgical, injured, geriatric and palliative patients. Led by our Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner, Judith Emery, we work with you to ensure your pet has the best life possible.
A referral form is available for both veterinarians and clients who would like to access these services.
