A straight-talking look at your website

Why your site should look like this.

This page isn't a sales pitch. It's a plain-English look at what your current website is doing well, what it's doing poorly, and what Launchpad would change if you gave us the green light.

Your website today
Here's what's holding it back
  • byronfamilydental.ca is on a Wix subscription

The site is built on Wix. That means an ongoing $17 to $36 a month subscription to keep the domain, hosting, and editor active. Over a 5-year window, that is roughly $1,000 to $2,000 in recurring fees with nothing owned at the end.

  • Five sub-pages collapsed into one booking page

The current Booking page wedges five things (How To Book, New Patients, Payment Info, Office Policies, Reviews) into a single long scroll. The redesigned version keeps everything in one place but adds a five-card jump nav at the top so a patient can land directly on the section they need.

  • Logo source maxes out at 190 by 83 pixels

The current site loads logo_JPG.jpg, originally uploaded at 190 by 83 pixels and only as a JPG (no transparency). On retina displays the logo is visibly soft, and the white background corners are visible against the cream header. The redesigned version uses a transparent PNG and a high-quality re-export will replace it before launch.

  • No Canadian Dental Care Plan messaging

Many local family practices added a CDCP / Balanced Billing notice to their homepage so eligible patients know what to expect on cost. Byron Family Dental does not currently mention CDCP anywhere on the site. The redesigned site has a designated space for this when you decide how to handle CDCP.

  • Service descriptions buried as paragraphs

On the live site, all six services are paragraph blocks that read like a single wall of text. The redesigned Services page presents each as a chapter with a jump nav, icon-card breakdowns of what's included, and one-line scan-friendly summaries that match how patients actually read on phones.

  • Only Instagram linked, no Facebook found

The current site only links the Instagram account (@byronfamilydental). Most family practices in London also keep a Facebook page for local discovery. If you have a Facebook page that isn't linked from the site, we can wire it in. If you do not, adding one is a quick win for Google Maps and local search.

  • It works, but it blends in

The site does the job, but nothing about it makes someone stop and say “this place looks great.” You're doing the work, the site just isn't showing it off.

  • Wix charges you every single month

And the day you stop paying, your website disappears. You don't own it, you rent it, forever. For most small businesses that's $300 to $500 a year, just to have a website exist.

And here's what it's costing you
$17 to $36 per month
Forever. Month after month, whether anyone visits or not.

What you'd get with Launchpad
  • Late nights surfaced prominently

Tuesday and Wednesday until 7pm are now called out with a "Late" tag on Home, Contact, and in the footer, so working families immediately see they can book outside business hours.

  • Free parking and accessibility upfront

Two parking options (behind off Boler, street out front) and wheelchair-accessible entrances are surfaced on the Home and Contact pages so first-time patients know exactly what to expect.

  • Ashley's review featured verbatim

The full review on the Home page and a dedicated Reviews section in Booking. Real, attributed, no edits.

  • Dr. Clarke's Byron roots are part of the brand

"Born and raised in Byron" is a real story the current site mentions only in her bio. The redesigned site uses it as part of the practice identity: roots in the neighbourhood.

  • Books in one tap from the header

A persistent "Book Now" button stays in the header on desktop as you scroll, with a matching call CTA on the floating contact widget for mobile.

  • A site that actually looks like a real business

Modern design that matches how your business actually feels, not a clicked-together template that looks like everyone else's.

  • Works perfectly on phones

Most people looking for you are on a phone. This site is built for phones first, then tablets, then laptops, in that order.

  • Everything you already have, better organized

Your hours, your services, your photos, your prices, your booking link, your menu, all of it, in one clean place that people can actually find.

  • Fast, secure, and runs itself

Hosted on Cloudflare, the same network that powers Shopify and Discord. Always online, always secure, always fast. No plugins to update.

  • You own it. Pay once. Forever.

$250 one time. No monthly fees for hosting. No subscription. No lock-in. The site is yours to keep, forever.
