Why your site should look like this.
This page isn't a sales pitch. It's a plain-English look at what your current website is doing well, what it's doing poorly, and what Launchpad would change if you gave us the green light.
- Wix template with recurring monthly fees
bellies2babies.com runs on Wix. That means a yearly Wix plan, premium add-ons for the booking and form widgets, and renewal price hikes every cycle. Conservatively $17 to $36 per month going up over time. The redesigned site lives on Cloudflare Pages at no recurring cost.
- No phone or email on the live homepage
Prospective clients reach a beautifully written page and then have no obvious way to contact you. The redesigned site puts call-or-text 519-851-4279 in the hero, in the header, in a floating contact button, and on a dedicated Contact page.
- No published street address (which is fine, but framing is missing)
As a mobile practice, you do not publish a street address, and that is the right call for a home-based business. But the current site does not say so. The redesigned site explains: "Mobile practice. No published storefront. We travel to your home for prenatal visits and to your chosen birthplace for the birth."
- Six distinct services flattened into one page
Prenatal companionship, birth support, postpartum, lactation, placenta encapsulation, and birth pool rentals are all currently presented in one block. The redesigned site gives each its own card on Home plus a full chapter on Services with verbatim "what is included" bullets.
- Komoka/Middlesex Centre location is buried
Many prospective clients want to know whether you can reach them. The redesigned site puts the service area on the hero, in the footer, and in a five-card grid on Contact (Middlesex Centre, London, Elgin County, Lambton County, plus a "beyond" note for further travel).
- Team page exists but no specific team members or credentials surfaced
Currently it is hard for visitors to know who the practitioner actually is or what their training looks like. We did not surface specific team detail in the redesign because it was not on the live site, but we have left the framework in place for you to fill in at launch week.
- It works, but it blends in
The site does the job, but nothing about it makes someone stop and say “this place looks great.” You're doing the work, the site just isn't showing it off.
- Wix charges you every single month
And the day you stop paying, your website disappears. You don't own it, you rent it, forever. For most small businesses that's $300 to $500 a year, just to have a website exist.
- "Imagine... A birthing journey where your intuition is honoured" as the hero
Verbatim from the live site, with the spiritual tone preserved. Set in Cormorant SC display against a soft stone background with the peach-and-sage palette.
- Three-stage arc cards (Prenatal / Birth / Postpartum)
Visible structure so prospective families understand the shape of the work in two seconds.
- Six-service grid on Home plus a six-chapter Services page
Each service gets a card on Home with a one-word eyebrow tag, plus a full chapter on Services with six concrete "what's included" bullets. Clients understand the offering before they call.
- Mobile-practice framing on Home and Contact
Honest about the lack of storefront. Names Middlesex Centre as the home base. Lists the service area explicitly.
- Complimentary-consultation flow on Contact
Free, twenty to thirty minutes, no commitment, no pressure. Reduces the friction of first contact for cautious first-time families.
- Receipts and EHB note
Doula and lactation services can be EHB-eligible depending on the plan. The redesigned site surfaces that on Contact with the standard "receipts provided" promise.
- A site that actually looks like a real business
Modern design that matches how your business actually feels, not a clicked-together template that looks like everyone else's.
- Works perfectly on phones
Most people looking for you are on a phone. This site is built for phones first, then tablets, then laptops, in that order.
- Everything you already have, better organized
Your hours, your services, your photos, your prices, your booking link, your menu, all of it, in one clean place that people can actually find.
- Fast, secure, and runs itself
Hosted on Cloudflare, the same network that powers Shopify and Discord. Always online, always secure, always fast. No plugins to update.
- You own it. Pay once. Forever.
$250 one time. No monthly fees for hosting. No subscription. No lock-in. The site is yours to keep, forever.
$250. One time. Yours forever.
You pay once. You own the website. Hosting is $0 per month. No monthly fees, no subscription, no surprise renewal email. If you ever stop using Launchpad, nothing happens, the site stays yours.
The monthly fees you'd be paying elsewhere.
Most website builders charge you every single month. The day you stop paying, your website is gone. Here's what that actually looks like over a year:
