What is included

The $300 fee covers the consultation, pickup, preparation, and delivery back to you within the service area. A $150 deposit reserves your spot at the time of booking.

Pickup at birth
Once baby arrives, we collect the placenta from your birthplace, hospital or home, and keep it properly stored for transport.

Traditional preparation
Your placenta is prepared using single-use instruments and traditional methods. Processing is completed within 36 hours of pickup.

Delivery back to you
Your finished capsules are delivered back to you within the service area, ready for the early postpartum weeks.
Good to know
We are not selling encapsulated placentas to anyone. We take the placenta you give us, charge a fee to process it, and return it to you. The service is intended solely for ingestion by the mother who birthed the placenta.
The benefits of placentaphagy are supported by ongoing research but have not been evaluated by Health Canada. We are happy to talk through the process and answer any questions during your consultation.
