Why your site should look like this.
This page isn't a sales pitch. It's a plain-English look at what your current website is doing well, what it's doing poorly, and what Launchpad would change if you gave us the green light.
- Wix template carries a recurring fee
alainaclc.com is a Wix site. That comes with a yearly Wix plan, premium plan upgrades for the booking page, and "Wix Ascend" upsells. Conservatively $35 to $70 per month going up at every Wix renewal cycle. The redesigned site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages at no monthly cost.
- Booking flow is generic Wix Bookings
Most lactation clients are calling or texting during a feed at 11pm, not navigating a four-step Wix booking funnel. The redesigned site keeps phone and text front and centre on every page, with a single one-click Book button in the header.
- Service area is in the footer instead of the hero
London, Ilderton, Kilworth, Komoka, Delaware. That is one of the strongest signals to a new parent that you can come to them. The redesigned site puts the service area in the hero eyebrow, the floating contact, and a dedicated card on Contact.
- IBCLC credential is not explained for laypeople
Most parents do not know what "IBCLC" means at a glance. The redesigned site keeps the credential abbreviation, but pairs it with one plain sentence on Home and About: "International Board Certified Lactation Consultant", the international standard for advanced lactation practice.
- Single hero image is portrait-cropped
The hero photo on the current site is a vertical portrait squeezed into a wide hero slot, which crops awkwardly on desktop. The redesigned site uses the portrait as a side-aside next to the headline, which is the right shape for the photo.
- It works, but it blends in
The site does the job, but nothing about it makes someone stop and say “this place looks great.” You're doing the work, the site just isn't showing it off.
- Wix charges you every single month
And the day you stop paying, your website disappears. You don't own it, you rent it, forever. For most small businesses that's $300 to $500 a year, just to have a website exist.
- "Lactation support and cranial sacral" as the hero
Both practices surfaced equally up top instead of one buried under the other. Halant display serif on Geist body, dusty rose on cream.
- Two-card service section with stock photos curated for the work
Breastfeeding consultation on the left, craniosacral therapy on the right. Each with the verbatim "What I can help with" list pulled from your live site, expanded out where it was vague.
- Service area as a five-card grid on Contact
London, Ilderton, Kilworth, Komoka, Delaware. Each with a drive-time note so families know how soon you can be there.
- Receipts-for-benefits messaging surfaced on Contact
Many IBCLC and CST sessions are eligible for reimbursement through extended health benefits. The redesigned site makes that explicit on Contact and Services so parents do not have to ask.
- Phone CTA includes "or text"
Most new parents would rather text than call. The redesigned site says "Call or text 226-921-1022" everywhere, instead of just "Call".
- A site that actually looks like a real business
Modern design that matches how your business actually feels, not a clicked-together template that looks like everyone else's.
- Works perfectly on phones
Most people looking for you are on a phone. This site is built for phones first, then tablets, then laptops, in that order.
- Everything you already have, better organized
Your hours, your services, your photos, your prices, your booking link, your menu, all of it, in one clean place that people can actually find.
- Fast, secure, and runs itself
Hosted on Cloudflare, the same network that powers Shopify and Discord. Always online, always secure, always fast. No plugins to update.
- You own it. Pay once. Forever.
$250 one time. No monthly fees for hosting. No subscription. No lock-in. The site is yours to keep, forever.
$250. One time. Yours forever.
You pay once. You own the website. Hosting is $0 per month. No monthly fees, no subscription, no surprise renewal email. If you ever stop using Launchpad, nothing happens, the site stays yours.
The monthly fees you'd be paying elsewhere.
Most website builders charge you every single month. The day you stop paying, your website is gone. Here's what that actually looks like over a year:
