We start with a complimentary consult, move to a 5-minute digital scan that previews your finished smile, and ship custom mapped aligners straight to the practice. No traditional impressions. No surprises.

Clear aligners are orthodontic treatment appliances that straighten teeth using a series of aligners, each altered slightly to move teeth safely and gradually. Made with medical-grade plastic, they are an allergen-safe, nearly invisible, removable alternative to braces.

How do I start my treatment?
To begin your treatment at West Five Smile, the first step is to make an appointment for your first consultation with our Invisalign provider Dr. Mark Tesseyman.
How much does treatment cost?
In most cases, the cost of Invisalign treatment is similar to the cost of braces. We will determine the cost of your treatment based on how complex your case is and how many aligners you need. Do you treat patients with braces?
Yes, we offer a variety of services. If you prefer to have yourself or your dependent treated with braces, then we are happy to oblige. Dr. Tesseyman can achieve the same results with braces or Invisalign. The difference is simply using a different tool to achieve the same result.
The treatment process
What is the treatment process?
Treatment starts with a consultation with our Invisalign provider, Dr. Mark Tesseyman, who will evaluate your smile and then map out a precise, customized digital treatment plan that showcases the step-by-step transformation of your smile. Once you approve your plan, your unique aligners will be created. You will wear each set of aligners for 20 to 22 hours a day, changing to a new set every 1 to 2 weeks, as directed by Dr. Tesseyman. Each set gently and gradually shifts your teeth into place until you reach your beautiful new smile.
How long is the treatment process?
Treatment time depends on multiple factors, such as the complexity of your case and how often you wear your aligners. Our Invisalign doctor will determine exactly how long your treatment will take based on your specific needs. On average, Invisalign treatment time is 12 to 24 months, though you may start seeing results in a matter of weeks.
Taking care of your aligners
How do I keep my aligners clean?
You can keep your aligners clean by simply brushing them with a toothbrush and toothpaste and rinsing with lukewarm water. Otherwise, you can use the Invisalign Cleaning System. Remember to never use hot water on your aligners as it can permanently warp the plastic.
What do I do if I lose or break one of my aligners?
If you lose or break an aligner, contact us immediately. We will work with you to ensure you stay aligned with your treatment plan. This may involve wearing your most recent set of aligners or ordering replacements.
