Same practice.
Integrative homepage.
Dr. Christina Schropp built the practice around integrative eye care with wellness at the heart. The current site does not lead with that. Here is what changes when the homepage reads like the practice does.
Your website today vs. what it could be.
We built this preview from everything already on your site, reorganized, redesigned, and priced to own outright.
- west5optometry.com hides behind Cloudflare and AWS, blocking accessibility crawlers
The current site sits behind a Cloudflare and AWS edge that returns a block to most crawlers, including accessibility checkers, screen-reader audits, and the tools insurance and benefits providers use to validate clinic listings. A patient on assistive technology can hit a wall before they ever see the homepage.
- No clear hosting story, and no clear monthly cost
The platform is not a known SaaS, and the bill is opaque. You cannot tell, today, who hosts the site, what you pay each month, or what happens if that contact disappears. Unknown costs are themselves a budgeting problem. The new build is yours, $250 once and $0 monthly, on a host you can audit.
- Dr. Schropp's integrative philosophy is buried
The verbatim line "integrative eye care with wellness is at the heart of our practice" is the brand, but the current site does not anchor the hero around it. The new homepage opens with that exact statement and surfaces Dr. Schropp as owner in the first fold.
- Five distinct services, presented as a flat list
Integrative Eye Care, Pediatric Eye Center, Dry Eye Treatment, Customized Contact Lenses, and the Eyewear Studio each deserve a chapter. The new Services page gives each one a numbered chapter with three to four cards explaining what's actually included.
- Summer Saturday closure (Jul 1 to Sep 9) is easy to miss
Booking a Saturday in July only to discover the office is closed for the season is a bad first experience. The new design flags the seasonal Saturday closure on the homepage, the Contact page, and inside the footer hours block.
- Online booking and online eyewear shopping are not surfaced as features
Both exist on the current site but are buried under nav. The new build pins a Book Now button in the header on every page, includes a primary booking CTA in three places on the homepage, and references online eyewear shopping in the Eyewear Studio chapter.
- It works, but it blends in
The site does the job, but nothing about it makes someone stop and say “this place looks great.” You're doing the work, the site just isn't showing it off.
- "Integrative eye care with wellness at the heart" as the brand line
The verbatim practice philosophy carries the hero. Dr. Christina Schropp, OD is surfaced as owner in the opening fold, not three clicks deep. The integrative-care framing repeats throughout the homepage, Services chapters, and About page.
- Five chapters, one practice
Integrative Eye Care, Pediatric Eye Center, Dry Eye Treatment, Customized Contact Lenses, and Eyewear Studio each get a numbered chapter with three to four procedure cards explaining what's actually included, plus a jump-nav at the top of the Services page.
- The "relaxing and non-threatening office" promise, made visible
Calm sage-and-pine palette, generous spacing, Brygada 1918 serif paired with Asap Condensed for clinical clarity. The visual design matches what the practice has been telling patients to expect for years.
- Both phones, email, and seasonal hours surfaced on Contact
(519) 474-4900, (519) 471-5757, and welcome@west5o.com all appear with click-to-call and mailto links. Hours table is complete and the summer Saturday closure (Jul 1 to Sep 9) gets its own callout card.
- Pediatric Eye Center positioning as a separate chapter
Most optometry sites lump pediatric care into general services. Dr. Schropp's practice has a dedicated Pediatric Eye Center. The new build treats it as a chapter of its own, with kid-friendly framing in plain English.
- $250 once. $0 monthly. Hosted on Cloudflare Pages, yours to audit
No more opaque hosting. The new build deploys to a transparent Cloudflare Pages project, with a clear preview URL today and a domain pointed at it whenever you are ready to switch. Owned outright.
- A site that actually looks like a real business
Modern design that matches how your business actually feels, not a clicked-together template that looks like everyone else's.
- Works perfectly on phones
Most people looking for you are on a phone. This site is built for phones first, then tablets, then laptops, in that order.
- Everything you already have, better organized
Your hours, your services, your photos, your prices, your booking link, your menu, all of it, in one clean place that people can actually find.
- Fast, secure, and runs itself
Hosted on Cloudflare, the same network that powers Shopify and Discord. Always online, always secure, always fast. No plugins to update.
- You own it. Pay once. Forever.
$250 one time. No monthly fees for hosting. No subscription. No lock-in. The site is yours to keep, forever.

The monthly fees you'd be paying elsewhere.
Most website builders charge you every single month. The day you stop paying, your website is gone. Here's what that actually looks like over a year:
