Treatments & appliance info

Traditional or discreet,
always customized.

Every plan starts with a free consultation. We look at how your teeth meet, talk through what you want to change, and walk you through the options and the timeline before anything begins.

What we treat with

Four ways to move a smile.

01

Traditional braces

Metal brackets paired with modern wire technology. Still the most reliable and adaptable option, and faster than they used to be. The classic answer for complex bite work and growing smiles.

02

Clear aligners

A modern discreet solution for patients who prefer a near-invisible option. A series of custom trays guide teeth into place over time. Popular with teens and adults who want treatment that fits a daily routine.

03

Customized treatment plans

Every situation is unique. Treatment is built around your bite, your goals and your timeline, using the most sophisticated dental technology available today.

04

Retainers and follow-up

A finished treatment is only as good as how the result holds. We fit retainers, monitor settling, and stay on the line for any adjustments down the road.

Care for every age

When to come in.

Children (around age 7)

The Canadian Association of Orthodontists recommends a first orthodontic visit by age 7. Early evaluation catches growth and bite issues while they are easiest to address.

Teens

The most common years for orthodontic treatment. We work around school, sports and music schedules.

Adults

It is never too late to straighten teeth. Modern discreet options make adult treatment a quiet, comfortable choice.

Appliance info

Caring for your appliance at home.

Quick reminders for the most common appliances. If you are unsure about anything, call the office. We would rather you call than wait.

Brackets and wires

Brush carefully around brackets, twice a day. A soft-bristle brush works best. Floss daily with a threader or water flosser.

Aligner trays

Wear at least 22 hours a day, removing only to eat and brush. Rinse trays in cool water, never hot. Keep them in their case when out of your mouth.

Retainers

Wear as directed. Clean daily with cool water and a soft brush. Bring them with you to every visit so we can check fit.

If something breaks

Loose bracket, poking wire, lost aligner: call the office. We can usually fit you in for a quick repair. Do not try to bend a wire yourself.

For referring dentists

Sending us a patient?

We work closely with general dentists across London and Kincardine, and we keep you in the loop at every stage of treatment. Records, progress notes and finished-treatment summaries come back to you on time.

New patients do not need a referral to book, but if you would like to send one over, the fastest paths are phone or email.
