The Byron-Springbank Legion received its charter in 1952. It has seen many changes in that time, inside and out, but has still managed to grow year by year.
That growth comes from the commitment of our members and the wonderful volunteers who give their precious time to build a Legion we can all be proud of. Today the branch has over 600 members and 50 volunteers.
Feel free to drop by and see what you can do for your Legion, and what your Legion can do for you. We have dances, trivia nights, meat draws, activities, darts, snooker, food and free wi-fi. The list goes on. No matter what you choose to do, you will be surrounded by friendly people who enjoy being part of the Byron-Springbank community.

Meat Draws
Buy a ticket, win your dinner. One of our longest running traditions.
Darts & Snooker
League play and tournaments on our boards and snooker table.
Dances
Live entertainment nights. On dance nights we stay open until midnight.
Mat Yoga
Gentle community yoga in the hall, open to members and guests.
Community Breakfast
Our family breakfast, 9:00 to 11:30 AM. Everyone is welcome at the table.

The heart of the branch.
Our large, recently redecorated club room is where most of our activities happen and where people spend the most time. You will find a snooker table, dart boards, cribbage, cards, a friendly bar and free wi-fi. Whether you are a member or not, come down and join in one, or all, of the many things we have on offer.

Our event hall seats up to 150 guests with catering for groups of 40 to 140. It suits weddings, celebrations of life, retirement parties, banquets, service club meetings and more, with a bar, coat room, elevator, microphone, podium, projector and a 100 inch screen on hand.

Over the past nine years, Branch 533 has distributed almost $375,000 from our Poppy Fund to support veterans and their families in our community. Every poppy worn, and every donation made, stays close to home.

Membership is open to Canadian citizens and Commonwealth subjects of voting age. As part of the Legion's 100th anniversary, you can join free for one year and enjoy the Member Perks, Legion Magazine, social events and the comradeship that has held this branch together since 1952.
