Five ways music becomes therapy.
Whether you are looking for weekly one-on-one sessions, a school contract, or a birthday party that actually fits your child, here is everything Connections offers.
One-on-One Sessions
Individual music therapy sessions tailored to the goals you bring through the door. We use song, instruments, listening, and movement to support communication, emotional expression, motor function, and connection.
Every session is run by Jess (MTA), one practitioner the whole way through, so the work accumulates from week to week instead of restarting.
- 30, 45, or 60 minute sessions
- In-studio at Maple and Spruce
- Funding programs supported (Autism Ontario, extended health benefits with a music-therapy line)
- Goal-led documentation provided on request
Group Sessions
Inclusive group experiences that build connection, self-expression, and shared joy. Group sessions are scaled to your program: classroom-sized circles, small therapeutic groups, or community drop-in.
Bring music therapy to your space or use the studio at Maple and Spruce. Rate sheet on request.
- School and day-program contracts
- Therapeutic small groups
- Community drop-ins
- Mobile to your site or hosted in studio
Internships and Supervision
Guided learning for students working toward MTA. Practicum hours, observation, and supervision available for students from accredited Canadian music-therapy programs.
- Practicum placement hours
- Observation sessions
- Clinical supervision
- Reference letters for grad applications
Birthday Parties
Music-centered celebrations for kids and adults of all abilities. Bring favourite songs, choose instruments, and we will build a party around what the birthday person actually loves.
Sensory-friendly volume, predictable structure, and no-pressure participation. Great for kids with autism, sensory sensitivities, or anyone who wants a party with more music and less chaos.
- 60 to 90 minute party slots
- In-studio or mobile
- Sensory-friendly setup
- Inclusive of every guest
Public Speaking
Talks on music therapy and the benefits it offers across populations. Suitable for school staff, day-program teams, parent groups, conferences, and community organizations.
- Keynote and workshop formats
- Staff in-service training
- Parent and caregiver talks
- Custom topic by request
