Dough by hand, daily
Nothing frozen, nothing trucked in. The dough rests, gets stretched on the bench, and goes straight into the oven.
At Byron Pizza many things guide us towards excellence, but nothing is as important as our commitment to quality. Combine our total commitment to quality with our superior ingredients, and the result is pure pizza excellence.
Byron Pizza was first established in 1967. The current owners, Kevin and Denise, bought the store in 1989, with Davin becoming a partner in 2019. Byron Pizza employs approximately 25 to 30 people.
The business is built on a great pizza and fantastic customer service, where we really strive for high customer satisfaction. Word of mouth is still our best form of advertising, which is why we are dedicated to serving a better pizza.
Byron Pizza opens at Byron Village Plaza, 1240 Commissioners Rd W. The first slice serves a neighbourhood that is still farmland on the western edge.
Kevin and Denise take over the store. The recipes, the customer-service philosophy, and the hand-stretched dough commitment that still define the place all start here.
The menu grows. Chicken Club, Belly Buster, Greek, Veggie Mediterranean, every signature pie was tested on the bench and added one at a time as regulars asked for them.
Davin joins as partner. The team is now about 25 to 30 people across the kitchen, the catering van, and the school-lunch deliveries.
Best of London winner. Ontario PPM 150 compliant school lunch program. Sweet & Spicy with Mike's Hot Honey. Dill Pickle Pizza. Three generations of Byron families call this place "the pizza place".
Nothing frozen, nothing trucked in. The dough rests, gets stretched on the bench, and goes straight into the oven.
Kevin, Denise, and Davin are still in the building. Most calls go through one of them.
We are dedicated to serving a better pizza because that is the marketing plan, our customers telling their neighbours.
300-pizza catering runs, school lunch programs that meet provincial nutrition standards, $5 donations per family special on Adopt-a-School nights.
