Why your site should look like this.
This page isn't a sales pitch. It's a plain-English look at what your current website is doing well, what it's doing poorly, and what Launchpad would change if you gave us the green light.
- WordPress with recurring hosting and plugin costs
westfivedental.ca is built on WordPress. That carries ongoing fees for hosting, theme licenses, Elementor and other plugin renewals, and security/backup tools. Conservatively $25 to $80 per month depending on the setup, with maintenance touch-ups on top.
- Two phone numbers shown without explanation
The site lists 519-473-9378 and 519-930-2567 with no indication of which to call when. The redesigned site keeps both but adds context (e.g. main vs. specific department), so patients are not guessing.
- Address mismatch between Suite 209/260
Lead-data shows Suite 209/260 but the live homepage says Suite 260. Confirm on the visit which is current. The redesigned site uses Suite 260 (the published value) but the structure makes either easy to update.
- Saturday hours are buried in the schedule
Saturday 8:30 to 3 is a real differentiator for working families and shift workers. On the redesigned site that is surfaced under the hero with a gold "Saturday Hours" band and bolded in the footer.
- Ten specialty areas listed as text bullets
Cosmetic, endodontics, general, oral surgery, orthodontics, pediatric, periodontics, prosthodontics, restorative, sedation. Currently presented as a flat link list. The redesigned site lays them out as numbered chapter cards with descriptions and 3 sub-items each.
- Dentist and team bios are gated behind sub-pages
The "Our Dentists" and "Our Team" links lead to standalone pages with no preview on the homepage. The redesigned About page has a team photo grid up front, with bios pulled in during launch week.
- It works, but it blends in
The site does the job, but nothing about it makes someone stop and say “this place looks great.” You're doing the work, the site just isn't showing it off.
- WordPress needs constant upkeep
WordPress sites break. Plugins stop working. Security patches pile up. If nobody's maintaining it, it eventually goes down or gets hacked, and you usually find out from a customer.
- "Your journey to a brighter smile starts here" as the hero
The real tagline, set in Sahitya display serif against a soft emerald gradient over the hero photo.
- Saturday Hours surfaced as a brand differentiator
8:30am to 3pm on Saturdays in a gold band right under the hero, plus bolded in the footer. The clearest "we are open when you can come" signal possible.
- All ten specialty areas as a 10-card jump nav
Patients can land on the specific specialty they need. Numbered, named, and described, with three concrete sub-services per chapter.
- Eight team headshots ready on the About page
The team grid pulls in your 8 existing 570x570 headshots. Names and titles drop in at launch.
- Persistent Book Now button in the header
Sticky on desktop. Floating contact widget on mobile so the phone number stays one tap away.
- A site that actually looks like a real business
Modern design that matches how your business actually feels, not a clicked-together template that looks like everyone else's.
- Works perfectly on phones
Most people looking for you are on a phone. This site is built for phones first, then tablets, then laptops, in that order.
- Everything you already have, better organized
Your hours, your services, your photos, your prices, your booking link, your menu, all of it, in one clean place that people can actually find.
- Fast, secure, and runs itself
Hosted on Cloudflare, the same network that powers Shopify and Discord. Always online, always secure, always fast. No plugins to update.
- You own it. Pay once. Forever.
$250 one time. No monthly fees for hosting. No subscription. No lock-in. The site is yours to keep, forever.
$250. One time. Yours forever.
You pay once. You own the website. Hosting is $0 per month. No monthly fees, no subscription, no surprise renewal email. If you ever stop using Launchpad, nothing happens, the site stays yours.
The monthly fees you'd be paying elsewhere.
Most website builders charge you every single month. The day you stop paying, your website is gone. Here's what that actually looks like over a year:
