One passionate optician started Squints with one simple mission: a perfect pair of glasses at an extremely reasonable price. More than a decade later, across two London locations, that idea still runs the place.

How it started
We never set out to be the biggest. We set out to be the studio where a great pair of glasses is something everyone can have.
Squints was founded in 2012 by a single optician with one frustration: good eyewear had become something people felt they had to save up for. From day one, we stocked the designer names you love, then priced them honestly, so the right frame was never out of reach.
We answer to the people of London, not a head office. Two neighbourhood locations, one standard of care, and the same welcome whether it is your tenth pair or your very first.

Squints is owner-run, and that is not a slogan. The same optician who started the studio in 2012 is still on the floor: adjusting frames by hand, checking the fit, and making sure your glasses sit right before you leave.
It is why a five-minute adjustment is never rushed, and why we remember your last pair. When the owner is the optician, every fitting is personal.
