Independent opticians, since 2012.
A group of passionate opticians started Squints with one simple mission: a perfect pair of glasses at an extremely reasonable price. More than a decade later, across two London locations, that idea still runs the place.

How it started
We never set out to be the biggest. We set out to be the studio where a great pair of glasses is something everyone can have.
Squints was founded in 2012 by a group of opticians who shared one frustration: good eyewear had become something people felt they had to save up for. From day one, we stocked the designer names you love, then priced them honestly, so the right frame was never out of reach.
We answer to the people of London, not a head office. Two neighbourhood locations, one standard of care, and the same welcome whether it is your tenth pair or your very first.

Through Help the World See, we collect gently used glasses and send them to communities in need. It is the same idea Squints was built on: good vision should belong to everyone. Drop off your old glasses at either location and we will make sure they reach someone who needs them.
