Same chicken.
Better window.
A plain-English look at crispycrownie.com. The menu prices, the tagline, the Square ordering, and the social channels all moved to the front in the rebuild.
Your website today vs. what it could be.
We built this preview from everything already on your site, reorganized, redesigned, and priced to own outright.
- Your site is a GoDaddy template clone
The current site uses a stock GoDaddy Website Builder template that thousands of other food shops are also using. There is nothing on it that says Crispy Crownie. The brand, the colour story, and the chicken voice are not anywhere on the page.
- Only one hero photo for 12+ menu items
The whole site leans on a single promotional poster. Tenders, wings, bites, sandwich combos, sides, salads, drinks. None of them have a photo of their own. People decide what to order from photos.
- Hours show "today" only, no week
The live site says Open today 1:00pm to 8:00pm and stops there. A customer planning a Tuesday lunch cannot tell if you are open. The new preview surfaces the limitation plainly and adds a "Call for full week hours" prompt instead of guessing.
- Brand voice scattered, no consistent story
The verbatim Crispy Crownie line, food is more than just something you eat, it is a feeling, a memory, a moment shared, is buried. The rebuild anchors that line in the hero and the About page as the brand story.
- No spotlight for Nashville Hot
Nashville Hot is the differentiator versus every other London fried chicken shop. On the current site it is one line in the menu. The rebuild gives it a featured sandwich combo card on the homepage and a chapter on the menu page.
- Instagram, Facebook, TikTok exist but barely surface
All three social handles are real and active (@crispycrownie.ca on IG and TikTok, plus a Facebook share link). The current homepage does not push them. The rebuild has a three-button social strip on the homepage and the About page.
- The design looks out of date
Customers decide whether to trust a business in under 5 seconds, and they use the website to do it. A dated look makes an excellent business look like it's not paying attention.
- Bojangles-style hero with the tagline anchored
Hot. Crispy. Crowned. headline in chunky Lilita One on the brand red, with the verbatim Crispy Crownie philosophy line as the subhead. Square ordering plus View Menu as the two hero CTAs.
- Full menu page with every price
Seven chapters with all 24 items priced verbatim. Tenders, Wings, Bites, Sandwiches, Kid's, Sides, Salad and Drinks. Combos broken out below each chapter so the upsell is obvious.
- Order for the Occasion 4-card band
Solo Lunch, Family Feast, Game Night, Kid's Day. Each card opens directly to crispycrownie.square.site so people order in 30 seconds.
- Nashville Hot spotlighted on the homepage
Nashville Hot Sandwich Combo gets one of the four Crownie Favorites tiles on the homepage. It is now the second most prominent menu item, not a footnote.
- Square ordering preserved + featured
Every Order Online CTA on every page links straight to crispycrownie.square.site. No new ordering platform, no migration. The real Square setup is the win, we just made it easier to find.
- Honest hours framing, no invented schedule
Open today 1:00pm to 8:00pm appears verbatim in the footer, on Contact, and on About. A small "Call for full week hours" disclaimer is shown alongside, so a customer never gets the wrong day.
- A site that actually looks like a real business
Modern design that matches how your business actually feels, not a clicked-together template that looks like everyone else's.
- Works perfectly on phones
Most people looking for you are on a phone. This site is built for phones first, then tablets, then laptops, in that order.
- Everything you already have, better organized
Your hours, your services, your photos, your prices, your booking link, your menu, all of it, in one clean place that people can actually find.
- Fast, secure, and runs itself
Hosted on Cloudflare, the same network that powers Shopify and Discord. Always online, always secure, always fast. No plugins to update.
- You own it. Pay once. Forever.
$250 one time. No monthly fees for hosting. No subscription. No lock-in. The site is yours to keep, forever.
